Swedish online rug retailer Rugvista significantly increased both sales and earnings in the third quarter of 2026. That’s according to a company press release on its interim report of 4 November. Net sales rose by 16.8% to SEK 194.6m (approx. EUR 17.8m), up from SEK 166.6m in the same period last year. Organic growth was 16.3%.
Both a higher number of orders and higher order values drove growth. Orders rose by 3.7% to 83,600, while the average order value increased by 10.9% to SEK 3,274. The gross margin improved to 68.1% (previous year: 63.4%), which the company attributes to a more efficient supply chain.
Operating profit (EBIT) rose from SEK 11.9m to SEK 34.6m (approx. EUR 3.2m). The EBIT margin went up from 7.2% to 17.8%. Profit for the period came to SEK 26.7m (SEK 8.5m).
“Rugvista ended the third quarter with continued good growth and improved profitability,” says CEO Ebba Ljungerud. According to the company, the supplier price increases introduced in the spring have not yet fully fed through to the cost of sales. The economic environment has brightened slightly, it says, but conditions vary from country to country. Geopolitical uncertainty and risks around energy, freight and input costs persist, it adds.
